It is through the SC21 technique of continuous improvement that Rediweld learns what the customer is thinking and allows ideas/improvements to flow between them as a partnership.

As an example, Rediweld quickly discovered from one of its largest customers the need for additional metrology to support their growing demand in product tensile testing and set about supporting this activity in a more efficient and cost effective manner benefiting both companies. It was felt that Rediweld could adopt the same testing techniques used with the purchase of an Instron 5567 30kN Universal materials testing machine, which would bring the process in-line with production at Rediweld and reduce the risk to the customer and improve product lead-time.
This equipment is also available for the benefit of our other customers and as part of a programme of investment in metrology.
